ANOTHER BRICK IN THE RED WALL #4

CERI COLLINS, 37

  • Hometown: Merthyr Tydfil

  • Club You Support: Liverpool

  • First Wales away: Belgium, 2014. It was the game when Fellaini nearly took Joe Allen’s head off

  • Wales away caps: 9

  • Favourite Wales away trip: Dublin 2017. A dire game of football, Seamus Coleman’s ankle landed near us, Josh Thomas attempted 100 Guinness and turned his liver to compost, nearly ran over Tomi Caws in a taxi, Daf’s pink shorts, #FansMatch, sunburn but what a weekend.

  • Favourite Wales away memory: Being in Temple Bar watching live music ALL day. They’d sing one, we’d sing one, and so it went for 6 hours.

  • Favourite all time player: Gareth Bale

  • One essential Wales away item: The charcoal grey and lime away shirt we never won in but we always win when I wear that. Weird.

  • Favourite band: Every Time I Die

  • Band we should be listening to: Me, Bowen and Moore, Big Character, Phil Campbell and the Bastard Sons, The Woodsman, Raiders, Stay Voiceless and Wager

  • One surprising fact about you: I had to make the above question plural because a lot of my friends are talented bastards & I’m proud of them.
